Frequently asked questions.

  • We desire that all guests experience peace and safety which eases people closer to God. You do not have to be any religion to be welcomed here or use it for a spiritual purpose. We only ask that our guests conduct themselves and their activities in ways that are respectful of the biblical Christian principles on which it is founded. We do reserve the right to refuse any group that doesn’t align with our mission, on a case-by-case basis.

  • Because the language of house & home is universal. It’s a place where we’re meant to feel loved, safe, nurtured and accepted. Simply put, our goal is to make people feel “at home” while spending time here.

  • Guests are encouraged to stop by anytime between 9am - 7pm Monday - Friday and Saturday's 9am - 4pm. If you'd like to reserve a room for a group, please call ahead so we can ensure the right spot for you.

  • The Berger family has generously provided the land. Your donation funds all operating expenses, staff, maintenance, materials and improvements. We depend on our guests to “Bless It Forward” with one-time or monthly charitable gifts.

    The BH is a donation funded, non-profit 501(c)(3).

  • The BH offers a variety of Bible based classes and spiritual retreats. Our hope is that all who attend deepen their relationship with the Lord while connecting with others in Christ-centered fellowship.

  • Yes! The BH hosts individuals, groups and organizations who fill it with their own activities and events. If your event involves many guests and requires specific dates and services, the BH has a fee schedule and offers some planning assistance. Please contact the office for more information to see if your event will require reservations, to check availability and to make a reservation.

  • No, it is not a church. The BH is a non-denominational, Christian 501(c)(3) Non Profit and is for all to enjoy. Our vision is that all who come here will be inspired to lead more Christ-centered lives.

  • Yes, Pastor Gail Berger, the Founder, lives in a small part of the house designated as residential.
