Connecting your investment to individual lives:

Ministry

A young couple came to the BH for bible study through the invitation of a friend. Life had recently hit hard; experiencing the loss of a child and a parent in a short period of time and they needed community. It wasn’t long before the young couple opened up and the husband shared that his relationship with God had been on automatic pilot for a while. To see the group quickly gather around them, encourage and offer help was a reminder of the value of inviting others into our lives and home where authentic sharing can happen.

Personal

For those in the process of grieving, a home provides safety and a lifeline when hurting. A group of women stopped buy the BH to spend time together. Each, a fairly new widow, and knew the value of friendship and spending time together. They sat at the kitchen table enjoying coffee and conversation. The BH is a safe place to have authentic conversations that lead to healing and hope.

Groups

A large ministry group of 40 came bounding through the doors, each lugging with them all they needed to make their day long retreat a success. The day was designed to encourage, equip and strengthen the hearts of the participants, so they made themselves at home. From the great room to the patio and every space between, our guests settled in to take advantage of the peaceful, relaxing surroundings. At the end of the day, they left refreshed and fortified for their ministry days ahead.
