Dr. Hal Baumchen, Executive Director of Northland Counseling
Saturday, March 10
9:00 – 11:00am
Hot-tempered people must pay the penalty. If you rescue them once, you will only have to do it again. Proverbs 19:19
If you’ve found yourself overly-concerned and constantly worried about a loved one and are unsure of how to help, this presentation is for you. In our effort to help loved ones, we often cringe when their actions bring unpleasant consequences. We wish we could interrupt the inevitable. When we can’t prevent the action of a loved one, we sometimes eliminate, delay, or minimize the consequence for them if we can. Co-dependency can rob you of your peace, create conflict in the home, damage relationships, and enable the unhealthy behaviors to continue.
Cost of the class is $15.00.

"Worldview in Conflict. Jesus Told Us So!"
Don Beirle with Faith Search International
Saturday, April 7
9:00 – 11:00am
If hated and persecuted because of His name, "leap for joy" because "great is your reward in heaven" (Luke 6:22-23).
A biblical Christian worldview is the framework for acting like Jesus, twenty-four hours a day, because we are thinking like Jesus. The truth of the Bible's teaching about God, humanity, the universe and time (history) puts the believer in conflict with the world's secular teaching. As a result, Jesus warned that the world would not tolerate His teaching and would hate Christian believers as they did Him (John 15:18-25). Christians need to prepare clear reasons to give an answer in defense of their faith (1 Peter 3:15).
Cost of the class is $10.00.
